The principle of the infrared heating: It heats just like the sun.

The following example will explain how infrared heating works. It is winter in the mountains and a nice day with lovely sunshine. At minus 20c? you get yourself warmed up by the sun rays. You feel comfortable and warm even though it is bitingly cold outside. This is how an infrared heating system works. Just like the sun it warms up people, walls or objects, but not the air of the room.

The technology:
Heating with electricity... Everyone thinks of the small 2000 Watt fan heater with which you can warm your hands at most. Or the storage heating systems which have a very high electricity consumption and are expensive in their upkeep.

 The infrared technology has progressed to the extent that one electric heating element can copy the infrared radiation C of the sun exactly. This radiation is so effective, you can use following basic rule to calculate: You need 50-90 Watt electricity per square meter to achieve a comfortable warmth in your rooms. The best option to save energy is of course isulation. With modern isulation you can decrease this figure to 40 Watt per square meter.

Certainly you can use more than one heating element in one room. This is up your individual requirements. The heating element produces almost no electro smog. The mangnetic field is much smaller than the field strength of a bulb.

The temperature of the surface is 85 C?. Manufacturing according to VDE. There is no danger of serious burns, if you touch the heating element.

Important notice! The heating elements have to be positioned in a way that the infrared waves can be discharged freely and unhindered. Please do not place any objects, such as furniture or curtains in front of it.
